Folks, since I’m a bibliomancer as well as a Tarot reader, it was pointed out to me that I ought to give y’all a little taste by finding and meditating on a particular verse.

Today it’s 1 Samuel 8:7: And the LORD told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.”

Now, I could get all analytical about the politics of this verse, the historical context, and whatnot: but when we use scripture for divination, we don’t usually get all cerebral with the theology.

No, the phrase that jumps out at me today is, “it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me.”

In fact, it implies “Come to Me” – to the Love Supreme. What better ally could you have?
